Growing body of psycholinguistic literature demonstrates links between language and Asperger syndrome. However, language characteristics of individuals with Asperger syndrome and the differences between these individuals and typically developing and achieving individuals regarding language competence and how are these differences related to their age and the significance such differences add to our knowledge of understanding their language performance is still underdiagnosed and ill-treated entity. This book investigates this phenomenon using systematic literature review and meta-analysis as one of the best designs to quantitatively assess, amalgamate and summarize all previous related studies' outcomes in order to validate and resolve their discrepancies and drive the best results of them.
