Sirin Tufan holds an MA in Diplomatic Studies (Univ. of Westminster, UK) and an MA in Linguistics (Böaziçi Univ.TR).She has a PhD in Linguistics from the Univeristy of Manchester, UK. ¿.Tufan is an assis. professor at Beykent Univeristy, Istanbul. Her research is on: Language Contact /Convergence, Turkish and the Balkan languages.
