This book is the result of a research, whose main objective was to analyze the Degree in Literature course in a university institution, in the modality of Distance Education, regarding its aspects of accessibility for deaf people in its virtual teaching learning environment, in meeting the needs of the deaf linguistic community for learning and communication and interaction, both among deaf students, and between students/tutors/teachers of the disciplines. In this journey, it was possible to identify a number of elements that may influence the teaching and learning processes of deaf students, users of Virtual Teaching and Learning Environments in a distance learning context.
