In English Language Teaching, Communicative Language Teaching approach is popular all over the world. Nevertheless, the popularity of this approach, it is not thoroughly successful in it is application. The objectives of this book are to figure out the shortcomings of applying the communicative English language teaching approach to the nine grade students and the effective ways of overcoming the shortcomings. So, the research questions of this paper are what is the present condition of applying communicative English language teaching approach to the nine grade students of Bangladesh, what are the shortcomings of applying communicative language teaching approach the teachers and the learners have to face, what can be the effective ways of overcoming the shortcomings. To conduct this study, author has designed the questions of her questionnaire in a way that relate to the answers of her research questions. Data is collected in three steps.
