English language teaching research has witnessed various theories, methods, models and practices in the past decades, which has frequently undergone reconsideration. Furthermore, the new worldwide demand arising from political, social and economic changing circumstances, and the widespread growth in intercultural communication among people with variegated customs, values and ideologies have all opened new windows to innovative research on foreign language teaching, thereby leading to myriad investigations conducted in different parts of the world in search of finding best approaches and techniques to teach English in appropriate contexts.
