Billy Mills (Dublin, 1954) is an Irish poet who lives with his family near Limerick. He spent three years teaching in Barcelona in the 1980s, followed by another teaching stint in Eastbourne, in the south of England, but settled again in Ireland in the early 1990s. Billy Mills was born in Dublin in 1954. After spending some time in Spain and the UK, he now lives and works in the mid-west of Ireland. He was a regular contributor of articles on 'The Guardian' newspaper's book blog from 2008 to 2016. He is also an occasional contributor to the 'Dublin Review of Books'. He reviews poetry and writes about Bob Dylan on his blog, Elliptical Movements. Shearsman Books published his collected poems, 'Lares / Manes', in 2009.
