In this book a porous medium and artificially generated rough elements are used to simulate wall roughness.

Autorenporträt
Matthias Steger was born in Austria. He studied at the Technical University in Graz where he successfully completed two degrees: a BSc in Civil Engineering and Construction Management and MSc in Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering. The book grew out of his master¿s thesis at the institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management.
