The author remembers the day MLK gave his "I Have a Dream" speech, the day JFK was murdered, and the sudden silencing of Malcolm X. He struggled for years to understand why black people were treated so differently from whites. For the last ten years, he has been writing about this basic inequality, and how it's being exploited to completely destroy the freedom of all Americans. This book is his attempt to alert his fellow Americans who believe our freedom can't be taken away-before we wake up to find it gone.
