Autorenporträt
My name is Traevon Marquis Chandler! I am a manga artist, story writer and aspire to eventually have a directing hand in animated productions. Since I was a child, my gift and passion has been to bring my art to life and create action and suspense drama cartoons, though I only had the imagination to dream big dreams at the time. I kept at drawing and my art began to take form and complexity over time, with my passion growing continuously with every influence in Japanese art and American cartoons alike. My goal is to bring more than a simple form of entertainment to the world, building character and inspiration in everyday and future heroes alike. I was born in Denver, Colorado, but family circumstances caused me to live all over Phoenix, Arizona with my mother and younger brother growing up. I lived in Arizona from age 6 to current and attended school mostly in Gilbert, where I graduated from Gilbert High School in 2011. I drew unofficial mini comics at the Boys & Girls Club in 5th grade and for a few years, drew for kids in school, but fell from my artistic passion in 2010 and moved to competitive percussive arts from 2010 until 2013, competing in the Winter Guard International percussion world championships with Dark Sky Percussion in 2011 and Arizona State University percussion in 2013. After I exceeded the age limit for competitive percussion, I found my passion in drawing once again in 2015 and decided manga/ comics were my calling, no matter how successful they end up becoming. The plan is to keep refining my technique and building an audience. When my series becomes popular enough and circumstances open for classes, my goals to go to school for animation and put together an animation team to bring my project to life. My comics and manga, however, will never stop pouring in with the best of my talent! I plan to keep dreaming big!
