The stories of myth and legend tell of a mighty battle fought on the field of Camlann, a final battle where father and son clashed at the heads of two titanic armies, where the last chapter of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table was finally played out. This is, of course, a lie. The final days of Camelot were far darker, far stranger and far more deadly than any bard has ever told, and Camlann was only the beginning. As Lancelot returned, as Guinevere was reinstated as Queen, and as Arthur sought for one last time to heal the land that it was his birthright to protect, a brooding menace grew in strength threatening to tear the kingdom apart forever.
