Autorenporträt
Gerald H Thornhill left school at the age of fifteen and worked in the wholesale industry in Manchester. After two years in the RAF serving in Cyprus during the EOKA campaign and the Suez Crisis he returned to Manchester . In 1967 he joined the British Airports Authority and worked in the Operations Department at both Stansted and Gatwick airports. Leaving the BAA in 2001 to start a video production business, he produced training, instructional, safety and promotional films for the aviation industry. After retirement he turned to writing - a lifetime ambition. Last Summer is his third novel. He lives with his wife, Heather, in West Sussex, England.
