Radiotherapy is an important part of the management of oncological patients, being applied in more than half of them; With the advance of technology, radiotherapy is becoming more and more important, being able to give more localised treatments, minimising side effects. This advance in technology has also allowed us to understand to a greater extent how radiotherapy works, and this may be related to immune effects in patients, which may occur during treatment in areas outside the area of irradiation, explained by the By-stander and abscopal effects, or late effects in the treatment area such as late radiodermatitis, a rare diagnostic entity in which the skin develops a recall reaction in relation to a previously irradiated area, the pathophysiology of this entity is still unclear but could be associated with an immune reaction; In this book we develop a case of late radiodermatitis, its diagnosis and treatment.
