Rachel was born and raised in San Francisco, California. That is where her writing career started with poetry, having had three books published and eventually winning an award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. Rachel's hobbies include horseback riding, swimming, taking long walks, anything to do with cars, and especially working out, where she says, "Work out for no one else but yourself, and to stay healthy." Laughing Out of Context is Mrs. Zangrillo-Galicinao's debut novel, written from her life experiences in motherhood and from volunteering and speaking at numerous elementary schools. Her love for children, animals, and traveling have all inspired her in life, along with watching food shows, which brings out her creative side in cooking. Mrs. Zangrillo-Galicinao currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, with her husband, son, and parents.
