Autorenporträt
Ranon Katzoff, Ph.D. (1968) in Greek and Latin, Columbia University, is Professor of Classical Studies at Bar Ilan University, Israel. He has published extensively on Roman and Jewish law in Greek papyri, and edited and supplemented Gulak, Legal Documents in the Talmud (Jerusalem, 1994). David Schaps, Ph.D. (1972) in Classical Philology, Harvard, is Associate Professor of Classical Studies at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. His most recent book is The Invention of Coinage and the Monetization of Ancient Greece (Michigan, 2004).
