Alan has been in pastoral ministry since 2011, serving as the Associate Pastor of Elim Hope Church in Lane End, and as the Lead Pastor of Elim Oasis Church in Broadstairs. Prior to that he spent most of his Christian life as part of the Elim Pentecostal Church in various leadership roles. He has been bi-vocational in his ministry, working as an IT Software Consultant, alongside leading a church. He holds a BA Honours in Applied Theology, an MA in Pentecostal and Charismatic Theology, both from Regents Theological College in Malvern, England.His greatest desire is to make disciples of those who have chosen to follow Jesus. This has led him to begin this series of books, to help extend to others what he has learnt, both from his own discipleship journey and studies, creating kingdomperspective.net to make these new resources more widely available. Alan has travelled extensively and experienced mission in many nations, helping also to lead mission teams overseas, as well as hosting mission teams into the UK. He is credentialled as an Elim Missionary and now serves in Estonia with the EKNK Pentecostal Church and as the National Leader for Vabadus Kristuses Teenistus (Freedom in Christ Ministries), helping to build fruitful disciples there. Married to Alice, Alan is also a proud father to Carl and Sasha, and grandfather to four granddaughters: Annabelle, Elowyn, Lucy and Eleanor.
