CANDACE TONG-LI began to draw at an early age, using as her subjects the animals and nature she loves. She is also the author and illustrator of "Baby Crane and Other Animal Tales", "Acorn and Katie", "The Moon Stallion", "Snow Dogs", "Snow Leopard", "Tales of Titans", and "The Puppy Prince". A Chinese-English bilingual edition of "The Puppy Prince" is sold in China, published by Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House. Candace was born in Manhattan. She received her early education in Scarsdale, New York, and attended high school in Groton, Massachusetts. She is now a college student in Cambridge, Massachusetts, pursuing her interest in the life sciences.
