Autorenporträt
Prabha Nayak Prabhu, a native of India is a retired language teacher. After receiving her Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Bangalore University, India and teaching for a few years, she did a diploma in French Language and Civilization from the Sorbonne in Paris, France. Languages being her passion (she speaks four Indian languages), she decided to learn German and went on to do a Teacher Training Course from the Goethe Institut, Munich, Germany. She has taught at various institutions in India and the United States, including the Goethe Institut and Berlitz. Prabhu's articles have appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Delaware County Daily Times. Her poems have been published in Philadelphia Poets, Schuylkill Valley Journal, Mad Poets Review, Ethnic Voices, The Fox Chase Review, Poetry Ink, Pennessence and the Anthology Selfhood: Varieties of Experience. Prabhu is the mother of a grown up son Vineet and lives with her husband Giri in Aldan, Pennsylvania.
