Autorenporträt
Okakura Kakuzo, né en 863 et décédé en 1913, est aussi connu comme Okakura Tenshin ; il fut un intellectuel et érudit japonais voué au développement des arts japonais modernes ; il fut un des initiateurs du mouvement Nihon-Ga, toujours actuel au Japon et l'auteur de plusieurs ouvrages culturels fondamentaux, dont Le Livre du thé.
