Autorenporträt
Jo Anne Preston is the workforce and organizational development senior manager for the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative. Since 1981, she has honed her leadership skills in rural healthcare. She worked for 20 years in substance abuse and mental health services, including various middle management roles, ultimately serving as executive director for Ministry Behavioral Health in central Wisconsin. Preston earned a bachelor's degree in family services and a master's degree in educational psychology/community counseling from Eastern Illinois University. Dr. Ginny Whitelaw has coached and trained leaders worldwide in such companies as: Merck, Novartis, JNJ, HP, T Rowe Price, and Hillrom. During her ten years at NASA, she became the deputy manager for integrating the International Space Station, for which she received NASA's Exceptional Service Medal. Dr. Whitelaw also contributes a regular column to Forbes.com. Her latest book is Resonate: Zen and the Way of Making a Difference (978-1646631346, October 2020, Koehler Books). She holds a PhD in biophysics, a BS in physics, and a fifth-degree black belt in Aikido.
