Given its widespread adoption, mobile technology has become a phenomenon in the workplace. An understanding of these shared perceptions may assist leaders tasked with managing mobile technology to better align management perceptions with implementation and technology oversight. Qualitative interviews with leaders who have been tasked with managing the decisions made regarding mobile technology in their respective organizations were conducted to collect expansive data regarding perceptions of mobile technology. Qualitative research analysis was conducted to better understand this issue, to bridge gaps in the current research and form meaningful shared concepts regarding leadership perceptions.
