José Christian Arias-Herrera ha un dottorato di ricerca in innovazione e amministrazione delle organizzazioni presso l'Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. Master in Amministrazione presso l'Istituto Tecnologico di Sonora e ha una laurea in Amministrazione presso l'Istituto Tecnologico Superiore di Cajeme. Attualmente è Professore di Ricerca presso l'Università di Sonora.
