For many, there are several motivating factors for involvement, including the building of relationships and leadership experience. Some are motivated to contribute to the progress of society. Though college students represent only a small portion of our population, it is the portion th at m ost frequently, in the long run, provides the leadership, occupies policy making positions, and effectively influence public opinion
