My invitation to all people I work with is to... Stop. Think. Reflect. Discuss. The act of stopping to think is (in my experience) the most underused and undervalued activity in modern professional life. Especially for those in leadership positions. But if we do get the chance to stop, it can be difficult to organise and make sense of our thinking. If a leader's job is to simplify the complex for their people, then how to simplify the complex for oneself? A calendarized journal with dates and space to write task lists is useful but limited. I tried to find one I could strategise with. A journal with specific guided questions to house all the relevant data for my team. I could not find one, so I created this journal with the brilliant designer Jansen Lye. Based on the principles of The Rhythm Effect my hope is this journal helps to propel you forward with clarity and power on your Leaders Journey.
