The field experiment was conducted at the department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Dapoli. Dist - Ratnagiri. In vitro evaluation of various fungicides indicated that Carbendazim (0.1%), Mancozeb (0.25%) and Hexaconazole (0.1%), were found very effective in inhibiting the growth of Drechslera maydis causing leaf blight of sweet corn.The crop sown on the 5th November (D1; 45 MW) showed fewer incidences of disease (15.87%) and found very effective treatment in reducing the disease.
