The book thus approached sustainable improvement of existing buildings through the lean thinking concept with particular reference to public office buildings in Nigeria, a developing countries; this involves the application of muda to the typical improvement diagnosis technique for enhanced assessment of users¿ requirement and consequently enhanced building performance for sustainability.

The author is a Senior Lecturer at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi at the Department of Estate Management and Valuation with PhD in Real Estate and Facilities Management. He specializes in teaching Property Management and Facilities Management courses and has also been in professional practice for 30 years. He is married with children.
