The present study provides not only a theoretical framework to benefit the education community, but also a practical framework for frontline practitioners to use. This Reflective Learning Taxonomy can also be employed by tour sponsors who may require a form of systematic evaluation to assess the success of tours.

Autor

Dr Samuel Cheng is now serving as a secondary school principal in Hong Kong. With the background of being an extra-curricular activities master, Dr Cheng has chances to bring students to educational tours. His footsteps covered Mainland China, Asian countries and even South Africa. These valuable experiences inspired him to start the research.
