Leaving French Creek Bay is a collection of poems that express a way of life in a small river town. The St. Lawrence Seaway in upstate NY is a beautiful place to enjoy all of the seasons. I was blessed to have grown up there like my generations before me. The roots do run deep. You may get out of the water but the river still flows through. No matter where you go my friend the river's going to flow through you.

Autorenporträt
I am a native of Clayton, NY. Although able to visit home throughout the years it's never been enough. I have missed my home for almost 42 years. Living in NJ for 22 years and FL for the last 20 years. I've been around the country and there is no other place like the 1000 islands. My friends that I grew up with whether they still live there or not all feel the same. This is where our roots are. I have been blessed to be able to call Clayton my home and I will return for good when I retire. There is no place like home.
