LUIS AMAVISCA nació en Santander en 1976. Licenciado en Historia del Arte y en Musicología, realizó el Bienio en la Escuela de los Cinco Sentidos de Milán. Como artista plástico ha expuesto en ciudades como Málaga, Madrid, Barcelona, París y Róterdam. Ha publicado dieciocho libros infantiles traducidos a más de diez idiomas, y también dos álbumes ilustrados para adultos. Lebab. El efecto luciérnaga es su primera novela. JUANA CORTÉS nació en Hondarribia en 1966, es licenciada en Filosofía. Entre sus novelas están Las sombras (Premio Tiflos 2015), Los ausentes, La sangre del verdugo y Las vivas. También ha publicado varias colecciones de relatos como Las batallas silenciosas y Cenizas (Premio Tiflos 2021), ambos finalistas del Premio Setenil al mejor libro de relatos publicado en España en 2012 y 2022.
