The book: Lectures on Systems & Control Engineering (With Worked Examples), is meant to explain the rudiments of control engineering to undergraduate students. It is written from experience obtained from teaching control engineering in the university, at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels, for several years. The B.Sc. Control Engineering Syllabus is adequately covered. In order to carry students along, worked examples are presented at the end of most chapters. In some chapters, as the need arises, the examples are given right in the main discussions of the subject. This is to enable students understand the subject of discussion immediately, rather than being held in suspense until the end of the chapter. Though the primary target of the book is university undergraduate students studying Electrical/Electronic, Computer, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Polytechnics/Colleges of Technology and Research institution students will equally find the book as a valuable source of information. It can also serve as a refresher source for postgraduate students of Electrical/Electronic or Control Engineering.
