Not to mention driving our own team of huskies for five days and nights in a snowbound Alaska; or canoeing the whitewater rapids of the "Deliverance" river; or bathing with elephants and crocodiles in Nepal; or swimming with dolphins in Belize; or paragliding 5000 feet above the Alps; or hiking through three countries around Mont Blanc with bloody toes.

During his busy practice of 32 years as a trial lawyer, the author started writing stories about his family's many unusual adventures and bizarre encounters in New Orleans and various outdoor settings. After retiring professionally, he and his family continued to enjoy an active life outdoors both here and abroad, which supplied ample material for additional stories. That all eventually culminated in this book.
