Micaela Myers is the author of two previous equestrian books, The Horse Illustrated Guide to Trail Riding and The Simple Solutions Guide to Trailering Your Horse. Formerly an associate editor for Horse Illustrated Magazine, she is currently a freelance writer and magazine editor. Micaela has owned horses for twenty-five years and competed in English and western pleasure, western equitation, barrel racing/gymkhana, and driving.
