Autorenporträt
From 1981 to 1988, Janis Bultman was a contributing editor for Darkroom Photography magazine. A graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, she was awarded the New Jersey Arts Council Fellowship for fiction. She has been published in Forbes, Rolling Stone Press, Photo District News, American Photographer, Super-8 Filmaker, Moving Image, Arts Metro, Buddy, The Sun, San Jose Studies, Pacific Review, Belletrist Review, and Eureka Literary Magazine. Bultman was raised in San Jose, California, and has lived in Berkeley, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, New Jersey, London, and Portland, Oregon. She now lives in Iowa and teaches English at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.
