Dylan Cox lands in Reval, a place he never expected to see. When he finds out he cannot leave right away, Dylan decides to make the most of his visit by learning about his foreign surroundings and those that live there. Back in small-town Salida, Tom, Dylan's roommate, searches for answers about Dylan's disappearance. Tom must team up with a man on the autism spectrum and a newly emancipated woman, who is discovering her inner-strength, to figure out where Dylan went and how he might return. Tom decides to give Dylan time to return on his terms, but Bigfoot believers interfere with Tom's wait-and-see tactics. Tom is afraid they might hurt Dylan's chances to return home. ¿Dylan soon figures out that Utopian Reval is not what it seems. Even when everyone's basic needs are met, they will seek power or something that belongs to someone else. While Dylan wants to trust the individual who brought him to Reval, he may not have Dylan's best interests at heart. Ultimately, Dylan will need to rely on his wits and an improbable friend to make his way home.
