It analyzes the elements of legal information processing in SILEX and the Chamber of Deputies' Manual for Compiling Brazilian Legislation, with the aim of obtaining a diagnosis of the legal information systems made available virtually and identifying the elements of information architecture in the Chamber of Deputies. It presents a descriptive comparative analysis of the principles of timeliness, relationship of norms, coverage, access to content and access to information that should guide the maintenance of legal information systems. The study concluded that a legal information system should follow the life cycle of legal information, include all versions of its texts published in official sources with coverage at national, state, municipal and district levels, and be accessible to citizens.

Máster en Ciencias de la Información por la UNB (1999); especialización en Instituciones y Procesos Políticos del Poder Legislativo por la Cámara de Diputados (2009); especialización en Arquitectura y Organización de la Información por la Universidad Federal de Minas Gerais (2013).
