It is a research carried out from the point of view of the Legal Psychology to the deprived of Freedom that integrate the residential Therapeutic Community of the Penitentiary Establishment of High and Medium Security of Combita (Boyacá) that has as objective to prevent and to intervene the consumption of psychoactive substances in the context of the penitentiary environment that bring with them legal effects to the legal benefits established in Law 65 of 1993 - Penitentiary and Prison Code. The aim is to prevent and intervene in the use of psychoactive substances in the context of the prison environment, which has legal effects on the legal benefits established in Act No. 65 of 1993, the Prison and Jail Code, and has an impact on mental health and re-socialization as part of the prison treatment they receive. Four psychological tests were applied to the prisoners in two moments, the first corresponds to a pre-test and the second as a post-test for a quantitative analysis of the findings resulting from the psychological instruments applied.
