Currently, one of the trends of the Eurasian Economic Union member states is the construction of digital economy in the state territories and the resolution of the issue of introducing into civil circulation or banning the introduction of innovative financial assets, called cryptocurrency. The Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, which are parties to the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State along with participation in the EAEU, both in the development of the digital economy and in the sphere of cryptocurrency circulation on the state territory have adopted a number of normative legal acts, the rules of which regulate the relevant social relations and, in fact, prohibit the free civil circulation of digital financial assets. However, in our opinion, the dynamic development of the digital economy is not possible without the admission of digital financial assets, called cryptocurrency, to the free civil turnover, which has already happened in many countries of the world.
