In Rwanda, the problem of the increase of divorce has been recognized like it is the case in many countries all over the world due to different grounds, which are not my concern to point out in this research. One of the consequences of divorce is obviously noticed that the children are affected by the divorce of their parents, but unfortunately, their legal representation is not recognized under Rwandan law. Normally, divorce is the conclusion or the dissolution of the marriage meaning the ending up of the marriage. And it is only conducted when one of the spouses have proved one or many of the grounds of divorce that are provided for under the preliminary and first book of the civil code. And it is considered as the fact of modern life in that, many couples get divorced simply by showing the civilization in their lives as it is stipulated by many researchers and as it is clearly that whatever the case, the divorce will remain part of the society challenges and what matters is tofind the suitable way to handle it in the manner that reduces it negative effects especially on the children.
