Autorenporträt
Opal Allen began writing and illustrating short stories as a teen. Years later, she decided to try her hand at writing poems. Some of her poems have appeared in Anthologies, and in the POET'S CORNER of a small newspaper. Opal has written several papers, and editorial responses, but has always wanted to write children's books. She has an undergraduate degree in Biology, and is a retired high school teacher. Opal also has a Masters Degree in Education, as well as a Counseling credential. She lives in Southern California with her family and two young grandchildren.
