Analysis of this funerary material revealed socio-cultural as well as archaeo-biological insights into the populations over a relatively long period before the hispanicisation of the Sayula Basin. Chapters 1 & 2 are devoted to a general overview of the region and the site. Chapters 3-5 detail the finds. The cultural and biological nature of the finds are discussed in Chapters 6 & 7, while Chapters 8 & 9 concentrate on comparative studies and synthesis.
