Leon Panikvar (born 28 January 1983) is a Slovenian footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock. Panikvar started his career with hometown club NK Maribor where he made his Slovenian league debut in the 2004-2005 season. He spent a brief period on loan with NK Bela Krajina 2006. In 2008, he was sold to fellow PrvaLiga team NK Primorje where he became a mainstay in the team, however the team finished the season in 10th place and were relegated. In the summer of 2011, Panikvar left ZTE after the one-year option was not taken up. He was then invited for a trial with Kilmarnock where he signed a two-year contract on 17 August 2011. Panikvar made his first appearence for Kilmarnock on saturday september the 17th 2011 in a 2-2 away draw to Aberdeen.
