The book offers a differentiated approach to the conception and design of localization algorithms. Due to the breadth of the subject, several reading sequences are proposed, in order to assist readers who want to delve deeper into a particular topic, while maintaining the line of reasoning in an effective and structured manner. The focus of the text is on a study involving mobile networks with different movement patterns for the nodes whose position must be computed. Unlike the traditional approach, where the objective is centered almost exclusively on the accuracy of the coordinates, this text approaches the algorithm from the point of view of a hardware localization engine. Consequently, it is concerned with the aspect of power consumption when proposing the design of an ASIC.
