Sonja J. Ellis is Associate Professor in Human Development at the University of Waikato, Aotearoa/New Zealand. She is also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In a career spanning more than 20 years and three countries (the UK, Australia and New Zealand), she has published widely in the field of LGBTIQ+ psychology, bringing her knowledge of the field to teaching in psychology, counselling and education.
