Verina Wherry is a 22-year old student. She has been writing poetry since she was 10-years old. She also performs spoken word locally. Her favorite poets include Lamont Carey, Rudy Francisco, Shanelle Gabriel, Rasheed Copeland, and Ronald P. Clark. Although she has had poetry published in many scholastic papers and magazines; this is her first published collection.
