For more than two decades, Dr. Frank McMeen has served as president of the Community Foundation of West Tennessee (formerly known as the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation) in Jackson, Tennessee. He's the former vice president of University Advancement at Freed-Hardeman University, president of Columbia Academy, and adjunct faculty member at the University of Memphis and Freed-Hardeman University. He has served as president of the Lambuth Neighborhood Association off and on for more than ten years, and he was elected to Jackson's City Council. He serves on numerous local boards which include the Boys & Girls Club, Jackson Equity Project, Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association, and the Jackson Rotary Club. He is currently the treasurer of the Tennessee Dental Association Foundation and served two terms as president of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities. He enjoys historic preservation and is restoring his thirteenth historic home in Midtown and Downtown Jackson. He loves animals and rescued his dogs, Bonnie May, Lucky Dawg, and Minnie Mutt. He worships at Skyline Church and serves on the Praise Team. He was raised on a farm outside Columbia, Tennessee, where Walking Horses were a vital part of his life, with his father winning two World Grand Championships.
