Autorenporträt
Robert Perkins was born in West Liberty, Kentucky in 1957. It was found that he had epilepsy at a very young age, and he lost his eyesight for when he was two until the doctors down the right medications for his seizures.He started writing his poetry when a college friend 'challenged' him to write one for the annual writing competition. His reply? Who me? I can't rhyme two words together! He came in third in the poetry division!Let Us Give Thanks is another challenge, this time to society to find things to be grateful for, wherever they can find them.He has been living in Springfield, Ohio since he turned 4. He and Linda were married for 20 years before her MS got the best of her, when she died in December 2016.
