Shawn Harris is an artist, musician and award-winning author and illustrator. His authorial debut, Have You Ever Seen a Flower, was awarded the Caldecott Medal. Shawn has illustrated for Dave Eggers and won the Newbery Medal for their book The Eyes and the Impossible. Shawn's illustrations for Mac Burnett's A Polar Bear in the Snow won the Bull-Bransom Award for excellence in children's book illustration in the field of nature and wildlife.
