Andy is a former professional footballer with a Masters in Positive Psychology. He now combines work as a successful city commodities broker in London with running the hugely successful AF motivational site One Year No Beer. Ten years ago Andy began studying well-being as he was materially successful but stressed out, overweight, unfit, unhealthy unmotivated and unhappy. Bewildered by his own lack of drive he began to study motivation. This lead to an open university degree and later a masters degree in positive psychology and coaching psychology. He also became a master practitioner of NLP (training with John Grinder) and a mindfulness awareness coach. Now in his final year of his Masters in Positive Psychology, his special area of research is motivation.
