Carla L. Coates is a professional leadership coach and the founder and CEO of Coates Consulting Group (CCG) in Bowie, MD. "Let's Get Down to Business" is the culmination of her experience over the last 17 years leading in the private sector and geographically distributed teams in the public sector. During that time, she and her staff earned multiple awards for outstanding performance. She is also the recipient of three meritorious awards, as well as a Superior Civilian Service Award for exceptional initiative, total dedication, and leadership from the Chief of Naval Personnel. She holds coaching certifications from the Office of Personnel Management and Certified Life Coach Institute. She lives and leads by the mantra, "if you take care of the people, the people will take care of the mission."
