Autorenporträt
Somadhi is a former community college English and creative writing instructor, author, and meditation coach. She learned Transcendental Meditation during the early seventies in Los Angeles, California and in 1973, participated in the Transcendental Meditation teacher training course held in Ethiopia at the College of Alemaya, since renamed Haramaya University. After completing her training, she joined her family in Accra, Ghana, where she and her husband taught meditation for several months before returning to the United States with their three oldest sons, who learned to meditate during childhood. After returning to the U.S., she joined the Aquarian Spiritual Center in Los Angeles, California. There, under the mentoring of Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Ligon, she deepened her understanding of the art and science of meditation. Through the years since, she has taught meditation and mindfulness to people of all ages. She lives and works in Elk Grove, California.
