Ruby Molly Hawkins is the author of the Hawkins Family series and the In the Vegetable Garden series. Ruby lives in Southern Spain and enjoys spending time with her family and writing, as well as caring for their ever-expanding family of animals. Christmas at Number 61 was the first in the Hawkins Family series followed by her second book, Let's Play Hide and Seek. These are stories based on the recollections of her childhood and feature the fictional Hawkins family: three brothers and a sister, aged between 3-8 years old, who are brought up by their father single-handedly. The New Arrivals is the first in the In the Vegetable Garden series. These stories are based on fictional fruits and vegetable characters living in a vegetable garden.
